I want my daughter to grow up fluent in both English and Spanish. To help her get there (and to help me learn Spanish) we have been borrowing English-Spanish books from the library. These are our favorites. These are our favorite English baby books. This is our favorite Halloween book. I also shared some tips on reading to your baby.

Rebecca Emberley wrote My Garden and we also like My Toys written by her. They have cute pictures with the name of the thing in English and Spanish.
My First Bilingual Books are another series of books with cute objects and their names. We have borrowed a number of them from the library, including Fruit/Frutas, Inside/Interiores, Clothes/Ropa, and Animals/Animales.
This is a cute book with cute pictures and is written from the perspective of the little girl. It is written to help your little ones to understand being dropped off and picked up by parents and guardians.
This is a cute little book about Clifford going to sleep. He was one of my favorites when I was little, and I’m happy to share these stories with Lily.
I also found a local library that does bilingual English-Spanish storytime! It’s one of these playlists: https://www.youtube.com/c/BurbankPublicLibrary/playlists
