Disneyland with an 11-month-old

This is a follow-up to my post about going to Disneyland with a baby. We just took Lily again because our annual passes were unblocked from the summer.

This trip we only went into Disneyland. September and October is more crowded in the afternoon in California Adventure, due to Oogie Boogie Bash.

We finally got to check out Galaxy’s Edge (Star Wars Land)! The Millennium Falcon ride is incredible. I used the single rider line while my best friend watched Lily. The line was not long at all, considering what a new and thrilling ride it is. Lily enjoyed the marketplace and Docking Bay 7. At the marketplace, we looked at all the different things in each of the stalls and she picked out an Ewok stuffed doll (really cute!) Docking Bay 7 had a lot of seats, was cooler than outside, and had lots of cool lamps and things for Lily to look at. We rested, nursed, and cooled off at one of the tables inside after I rode the Millennium Falcon.

Some of Lily’s favorite rides so far have been It’s a Small World, Pirates of the Caribbean, Casey Jr Railroad, Storybook Boat Ride, Monsters Inc. in California Adventure, and Little Mermaid in California Adventure.

I packed these things for us, in our diaper bag and stroller:

  • baby food pouches
  • sippy cup for water
  • puffs for snacks in line or while I’m eating
  • nursing cover (she refuses bottles still)
  • jacket for baby
  • baby hat
  • sunscreen
  • extra onesie just in case
  • sleeper for going home
  • toy for long lines
  • diapers
  • wipes
  • bib for drool (yay teething!)
  • shoes for walking practice
  • portable battery for moms phone

  1. I brought my daughter to Disney World the first time when she was 4 months old and Disneyland when she was 20 months old! Bringing the little ones to Disney is still so much fun. Thank goodness for rider swap on some of the bigger rides!
